wants to come to my blind scrap night???

I have been doing blind scraps for scrapbudz as part of their DT .....and they're going to become a monthly thing .....the next one is on the 8th of July. Here is the link if you want to sign up and join on in

and the list of ingredients for this months blind challenge


Ingredients
12 x12 main Colour cardstock (i.e. yellow)
12 x 12 contrasting cardstock (i.e. purple)
12 x 12 paler tone, but same colour as contrasting colour cardstock
(i.e. Lavender)
12 x 12 patterned paper in same tones as Main colour cardstock (i.e. yellow)
12 x 2in 2nd patterned paper in similar tones as the main colour cardstock
(i.e. mustard)
A trimmed photo 5 ½ in x 5 ½ in
(No smaller than 4 in by 4 in)
A patty paper...(ie green)
Great if you can get a coloured one …but it doesn’t matter if you can only get white
4 safety pins (mine are about 1 ½ inches)
About a 1 m of ribbon (something to match your patty paper colour)
A 5 in x 5 in piece of cardboard (I have used a bit of pizza box)
12in of ric rac in the same colour as contrasting colour cardstock (ie purple)
Uppy tape (foam tape)
Decorative scissors
20 cent piece
Needle and hand embroidery thread in main colour (ie yellow)
Alphabet
PVA glue optional

DT Call

It's time again2009 DT call Scrapbook Capital is in search of a new Designer Team.It has been wonderful to have Sharon, Tracy and Hetty apart of my team and great to see there awesome work over the past 12 months. Thank you girls, not only have you been there for me and the site you have been an inspiration to many others so big hugs and kisses to you all.Now lets get down to the nitty gritty.
I am in search of 3 New DT members.
The competition is open to everybody including the old DT members.
The new DT members will be required to be apart of the SC team for at least 6 months and will be announced in late July 2009.
As a design team member your role will be to design layouts, cards and OTP projects using products from the Scrapbook CAPITAL shop for our website. I am looking for creative scrapbook, card, and OTP creators. You will be required to create, try new techniques and be an active participant in our forum and gallery.
You will also be required to have a blog for promoting and advertising.
If you are successful as a Scrapbook Capital Design Team Member you will be required to do the following: • Creating inspiring and unique scrapbook layouts, cards and Off The Page projects. You will need to include a materials list for each project you complete using Scrapbook Capital products. • Becoming a member of the Scrapbook Capital Forum and helping out with cybercrops and challenges • Help out with discussion topics on the Forum
Comment regularly in the gallery • Respond regularly to topics on the forum. As a DT Member you will receive:
New products from the store on a regular basis for you to use solely for the purpose of promoting the stock and the Scrapbook Capital Website. You keep all materials. Completed projects are yours to keep.
A discount on freight for any orders you place through the store as well as a further 20% off already heavily discounted items in addition to items you order.
Design Team Commitment will be 6 months.
Design Team Members will be chosen by Lorrie Mayo, owner of Scrapbook Capital
You can apply for the Scrapbook Capital design team by submitting the following: 1.) A layout, either 12x12 or 8.5x11, single or double, including a minimum of 4 techniques, title and journalling. 2.) A greeting card. Can be any type, birthday, christmas, new baby etc..... but think outside the square3.) An OTP project wether it be a mini album, a frame, storage box.... the list is endless. You can design and create this or you can use a pre made OTP like a Kasier item and tizz it up.4.) A "if I owned a Scrapbook business I would..." short list including products, techniques, competitions, etc......3.) Complete a short submission (one or two paragraphs) on why you feel you would be an asset to the Scrapbook Capital Team including a photo of your self. Focus on your strengths and what you could bring to the site and forum. Share your ideas and thoughts for promoting your membership as a DT member. Also list any blogs, DT positions you may have, or anything else that you are involved in that will 'sell you'. These are to be sent to shamayo@optusnet.com.au OR post to P.O. 340 Officer Vic 3809. I will post back to you once judging is finalised. Entries are required by 12 July 2009.

As for me and my scrappin ......i have been a bit slowed up this month ...but oh well ya get that some times but here are some of my lay outs this month


This is my wk 4 of the BIU#2 ...requirements were buttons, distressing, punched item and patterned paper
this is my wk 5 ......requirements are Brads, Patterned Paper, distressing, punched items and buttons
Wk 6 requirements ....photo corners plus brads, buttons, distressing, diecut or punched item and patterned paper




then over at scrapbudz i did 2 of their mono colour challenges










Then this is the scrapbudz colour challenge ....maroon, white and pale green ....my mojo lead me more towards lime ......but i am happy with the end results


This is also another colour combo challenge at scrapbudz pink, brown and beige
