But not with scrap booking ...lol....i have had our eldest daughter, Son in law and their 3 handsome boys visiting for 10 days ...will post pics later ....man i am having fun =) with the little fellas

but on the scrapping front this is my take on the monthly sketch challenge at scrapbook capital ....i am a bit disappointed that i could not ...no matter what angle or the different location could i give this lay out full justice with a pic ....the velvet ribbon is the same hot pink as the cardstock....the black and crystal beads are so shimmery ..and you can hardly see the word adore .....but oh well i was trying to have an abstract arty feel to this lay out .....but i have to say i love the sketch lay out ...and i will be using it again ....my strips say ....BE YOURSELF AND THE WORLD WILL SPIN AROUND YOU

This is my take on the Cyber crop challenge set by Janet, it was to do a pic about a mum/ mum figure ....and NO FLOWERS .....wtf!!!....I NEARLY FAINTED WHEN I READ THIS .....but i did get my mojo around it ...and i enjoyed how it turned out =)

this is my take on her second challenge ....was A4, black and white pic, and what influence being a mum or from a mum has had on your life .....my journaling reads ....

you make me smile, like i never knew i could. i have cried for you, i worry so deeply about your souls, You make me laugh so loudly the rest of the world becomes non existent. you warmed my heart with pride which fails to be matched. you are my favourite past time, i love you all so insanely and deeply, there maybe times during life where your choices disappoint me, but this will not adjust the standard of unconditional love that you all have. No matter the future brings you, there will always be room in my bed for a hug, a meal on the table to keep you healthy, a free taxi to get you home safely no matter how far or how late the hour, always a wet washer to wipe you down and rub your tummy when you're sick, the phone will always be ready to hear your voices, i will always have a shoulder for you to cry on. Love to the moon and back. Mum.

i have just finished a Card swap and oh my god the ladies are a talented bunch to play with ......i will post the cards at a later date, as they are still in the mail and some of my blog stalkers may not have received them ....so when they have all been received i will play show and tell

I was very lucky to have gone to a retreat that was run locally .....ionly went to the Saturday session it was run by Scrap therapy i managed to get 3 pages done

and an OTP which was supplied s a class to play with Tim holtz inks ...soi think not bad for a first attempt .....well i think anyway :P This is a lay out i did a while ago but i have just never posted it on my blog so while i am at it ...i thought i would post it up
