My Brags Tags

i am making brag tags this year or my mum, dad, my inlaws and my sister in law. this is my mum's all finished. i have put a piece of raw leather through the eyelets and have dyed it with the same pigment ink that i have used to do the edges of the tags ........i love them ......

this is the cover and the 3rd page ......the other pages are a bit out of the order as in the 2nd and the 4th are together...they are back to back.......but you get the idea .......

My First Challenge

this was the most fun i have ever had in doing a scrap layout ever. It was for an ongoing challenge on the top50 ( http://www.scrapbookingtop50.com.au/frontpage/html/ ) the challenge was set by Bon ( http://bonsscraps.blogspot.com/ ) and the challengers were set by No 1, Judith stamping but it can't be letters
No 2, Bon use hand stitching in purple
N0 3, Jude a photo of YOU on it!
and this was the result........i absolutely hated the thought of taking a pic of me ....so i thought i would do a fun photo......but i nearly was wetting my pants laughing while a friend was trying to take the pic ........man what a crazy day and a great memory...B-)

Breaking The Ice

Well girls i have done it. i have started my own blog. It seems to be the thing to do. So for those who know me thanks for looking in on my daily magic dust. I just love to scrap and i find it is great therapy to relax and clear the mind of daily duties. i really love challenges because for me they often take me out of my comfort zones .......and i love to see what i come up with . Some time i love them and others , well i have looked back on and thought what was i thinking ......But i would never change them.

For those who have not crossed my path and are just having a sticky beak to see what this is about (or me for that matter) i am a pretty chilled out relaxed person and often find that i am the joker in a crowd. i love the sound of laughter and i love to be around happy people. i am happily married with four kids and one grandson, and i wish i could own a hippie van with big pink flowers painted over it......wouldn't that lotto ticket be great.......What would you buy with your share of that lotto ticket?
